DOE FICA??
I just checked payroll portal and my FICA withholding is $200 MORE for this check (12/15).... anyone know why??? I’m furious as I have a strict budget and my check is $209 short.

Saw it on payroll portal... went to look at my check (as I always do) and saw that it was $200 less... combed through my deductions and realized that it was my FICA... they took out DOUBLE what they normally do.

I just notice the same thing. Every other paych ca the last 2 months. I need to speak to my payroll secretary when I get back.

Found out it was because they did not tax the Teachers of tonorrow grants “enough” and had to take out the additional
