Dr Wang
Hi ladies!!! Asking for a family friend, who has DOR, and is interested in traveling to NYC to work with Dr. Wang. Can you post the good, bad and ugly? Thanks! Baby dust to everyone :)

If you mean Dr. Wang at SIRM; then he is an absolute doll.
If they weren't so pricey; I would have made him my Doctor. But he has answered questions for me and took tests for me; even though I was never his patient per se.
I did have a consult with him at one point.

Dr Wang
He is great. I went to SIRM and saw another RE but saw him when my RE was away. He also did one of my transfers. He is very knowledgeable and thinks outside the box.

I used Dr.T from the same office and saw Dr. Wang a few times. I wouldn’t hesitate to send a friend to him, he’s lovely. (although my first choice will always be Dr.T!)

Great DR and all around great guy....will respond to your calls and emails any time of the day and night......we did not have success with him but he is a great dr and i def recc him!
ETA the only negative i can think of is that they are not very flexible with monitoring times and you get your appt time the day before.....quick walk from subway near bryant park.

I saw Dr T more recently and they changed the scheduling thing. You’re now able to make a specific appt at the time you make it. Occasionally they call to switch the time the day before if it collided with a transfer or retrieval, but that’s not frequent. I imagine it’s the same for Dr. Wang’s patients!

thats great, i know a lot of people were turned off bc of that.

I could be wrong ... but I vaguely remember getting an email from SIRM shortly after I left (2014) saying they had a grand opening for their CT location and that Dr. Wang would be transferring there as medical director.
