You can do ANY color pumps or strappy open toe high heels.
Anything from red, to cobalt blue to a sparkly glittery silver or gold blingy shoe.

So now heres more....
i have another dress...trying to decide which to wear. I don't know much about where I am going as its a surprise - DH just said black tie/formal
He prefers the green sequin dress...
i am also posting two shoes I found for the black dress.. the pink pumps come in a royal blue as well...

The black one, hands down. It is stunning on you.
I like the royal blue pumps. I feel like blue is dressier than hot pink but I might just be nuts.

I’d do a nude shoe to elongate the leg and dress up the black dress with a nice necklace and earrings.

I looooove the green dress. I'd do that with nude or gold shoes.
If I did the black dress, I'd probably do something sparkly- maybe gold or silver. I'm not a huge fan of blue with black.
You're going to look fabulous with either dress though!

The gold shoes you have on with the green dress would also work with the black. Both dresses look great-it's so hard when yo don't know where you are going.

Both dresses look great! I would do the gold shoes with the green dress and if you decide to go with the black dress, I'd get cobalt strappy sandals

Well thanks girls!!! I have to tell you - that this was my first try at rent the runway and it was a great score!! I would def try again!
The gold shoes were 12 bucks from burlington - yeah man!!
I have to decide ... so I have some thinking to do tonight... I feel very comfortable in the black... but I ALWAYS wear black... DH got googly eyes at the green soooo I'm leaning towards green. I told him give me another reason to rent the black one again lol! Thanks again and I will update later probably after the weekend when we are back from the surprise!

You look amazing in the green dress! And the gold shoes look great with it. I would go with that, especially since you said DH got all googly eyes when he saw it. So cute!

So update ladies! Thanks for all the help and love! DH took us back to our wedding venue. Apparently they do something they called Dejavu. Basically they want past couples to "re-live their wedding reception"
So its a big party! Really nice and very sweet!
I really didn't care what we did... but we laughed and drank and had a great night away from DS!
edit to add pics and really my makeup was amazing... those pics don't do it justice... not trying to OD on the pics... but I dropped my dress off at UPS back to rent the runway it goes! LOL Image Attachment(s):

Aww that's awesome!! I love that they do that! I would love to go back and party at our reception venue without the wedding day pressure... it'd be nice to actually eat the meal! I hope you guys had a blast- you looked STUNNING!
