Any one watching Americn Idol
Is anyone watching the new season?
I am slowly watching it and I have to say I hate the judges.
All 3 of them annoy me for some reason and that's disappointing cause I liked this show.

I love how they made a big "to do" about it being the last season, the show going off the air, etc.
Then all of a sudden they are back a year later.
Please.
Such a desperate attempt to stir up ratings.

I’m actually enjoying it and I don’t mind the judges. I just don’t like the country dude. I find his input very irrelevant.

I absolutely can't stand Katy Perry. I always liked her before this, but she is incredibly annoying and she acts like she's God's gift to the world.
Luke Brian is okay. Lionel Richie is like watching someone's dad give advice on live TV. I'm over it.

To me, American Idol will always be Simon, Paula and Randy.
Once they started switching out those original 3 judges, to me, it jumped the shark

I haven't watched idol since the original judges but I'm totally with you on the Voice. I'm loving this combination of judges!

OMG these judges are killing me!!!! and it kills me to say that cause I'm a HUGE Lionel Richie fan!!! I absolutely LOVE his music. but watching him talk as a judge...it's such a turn off. He's trying to be the cool dad. Gotta get up and give hugs and acting embarrassed when Katy says something. It's too much about them and these mushy stories...i get all the shows do it, but they're turning it into too much of a scripted reality show than a singing competition. And i feel like they've let people through that were just ok...but then they turned that girl away last week who sang Whitney because they didn't feel her emotion. That girl was amazing...and she could have worked on the emotion part.
But I agree...i LOVE the Voice! I love Kelly!!

At least I am not alone. Maybe I am just used to Simon type judge and no one on that show is like that.
I feel like they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to judging.
Maybe if they had a stronger judge on I could put up with the rest of them!

The network was stupid to air it at the same time slot as The Voice. They would have been better served to show it on a different day/time or even during The Voice's off-season. To have them directly compete was a poor decision.

i was shocked to see that it's on the same time as the Voice. I don't have cable (firestick and local antenna) and i chose to watch The Voice live. I'll watch american idol tonight on Hulu and fast forward
