Is your school closed on Friday or open?
We were supposed to be off but due to the endless snow days, we now have school on Friday, off Monday.
What about everyone else?

We were supposed to be off Thursday and Friday, Monday and Tuesday but used up all our built in snow days. So have school. But, I'm not sending mine as we are going camping

wow you had a LONG weekend there originally!
I know! 3 years ago we only used 1 snow day so we had Thurs, Friday and Monday off, it was great! I don't foresee that happening ever again

We lost Friday also due to snow days. I can't imagine many districts were able to keep more than Monday.

I know! 3 years ago we only used 1 snow day so we had Thurs, Friday and Monday off, it was great! I don't foresee that happening ever again
Not with the recent global cooling and 10 month winters!

We lost the half days we had scheduled for the last week of school (it’s a buffer).

My home district and work district are both open
ETA: My home district was supposed to be closed Friday and Monday...work district was supposed to be closed Friday-Tuesday but now just closed Monday.

We’re open. Work didn’t have off to begin with. We had three built in snow days and still lost the Friday of spring break. DS lost the Thursday and Friday before.

we're opened. i think we were always supposed to be open... we made up snow days during spring break in april. ( they had 5 built in to the calendar, but we had 7 total... so we had 2 less days of spring break this year :-/ )

Closed and today is a half day with no after care. I wish they took away these days instead of extending school. I never understood the Friday off before Memorial Day.

It's definitely a huge PIA for working parents!
So, we are in NYC. Last day of school is 6/26. We have off 6/7, 6/11 and 6/15. LOL The last is a holiday but the rest are not. It's crazy.

Which is kind of crazy because she was telling me how many of her friends were going to be out today due to pre-planned trips and plans they had before they got today put back on the calendar.
I thought the teacher should hold off on the tests until Tuesday. Kind of strange

Yeah. Same with my DS. He's had tons of tests all week. I think bc PARCC was last week and they had no other homework or tests so making it up this week. 
I think they were supposed to be off too, but added today and it's also a full day of school too.
