Re: The Affair
Wow so now we finally know what happened to Alison. I hope the truth is eventually revealed.
I am interested to know how this show will continue without Alison though since she is a main character of the show. Maybe flashbacks?

I was thinking that too. In flashbacks. Kinda like in This Is Us.
As much as I liked finding out what actually happened, I felt like the entire episode dragged a bit. Almost like it was a filler episode - but it wasn’t because it was the answer we were waiting for! I didn’t know how to feel about it
Looking forward to next week

Totally agree - even though it was such an important episode - i was getting bored at times!
Also- how would they not find any evidence in Allison's house? No blood or anything? Or did it look so much like a suicide that they didn't even look hard enough?

I wondered that too! Didn't the police think to look at her apartment for a suicide note or something out of place. You would easily see there was a struggle and blood evidence on the wall. I hope they go back to that and explain.
I thought it was a very interesting episode how they first showed her fantasy of what his visit was like vs. the reality. What a POS he turned out to be. Such a sad end to her character. I thought for sure it was suicide which would've fit with her past but this is so much worse, it's sad to think that she was finally doing a little better only to be killed.
I loved this season, it was very well done. Can't wait to see how the show wraps up in its final season.

The Affair
I am finally all caught up. That last episode was hard to watch. Slow moving, and then just very scary/intense. Im shocked she just didnt say it was her fault and let him go. I guess the last thing we see is her characters growth -- finally standing up to a man who is taking advantage of her. But wow. I wonder where this will go.

Re: The Affair
So good. The show completely redeemed themselves for me. I hated last season with the french professor etc. Loved this season. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the whole Alison episode. I still feel like it's open ended though. We don't know for sure if he did it or she did it to herself right? Am I missing something. I LOVE Cole but I did have to laugh when he ran off with her at the beach lol.

Re: The Affair
Spoilers...
I say "meh."
Like a PP said, I agree that I am not convinced we know what really happened to her. Maybe it was Ben, but it just seems too obvious that the beginning was her fantasy and the end her reality.
I'm in the minority here but I do not have the warm and fuzzies for Cole. He has treated Luisa like shit - using her, cheating on her twice, etc.
I also agree that it was kind of funny when he ran with the urn. But I also felt like that took something away from the moment.
I guess the last season will concentrate on what really happened plus I am hoping they tie up the Helen is a murderer storyline. Because that never got resolved. She confessed to Vic then they dropped it. Hmmm.

I agree about Ben -- im still not sure if he did it or not. It really could go either way. I wonder if they will ever tie that up or not. I know what you mean about Cole running away with the Urn but honestly i expected it. He never let her go, and never could. He was still holding onto her and insisted that if he were still her husband he would get to make all the judgement calls. He still felt like he was her husband. Him running with that urn broke my heart. The amount of pain he must be in -- first his child now his "wife".... I feel for Louisa but she knew he wasnt over her from day 1. In my opinion nothing changed there.

Re: The Affair
I FINALLY got all caught up. I really liked this season a lot. That finale was super depressing to me.
Cole running off with the urn was hilarious. There were actually a few funny moments this season. When they were pretending to be the gay couple was the best.
Luisa - I felt bad for her but she knew she was never his #1. I mean, she may not have known that in the beginning, but she certainly knew later. She has herself in an awful situation. You know she loves Joanie, Joanie has no mother now and now Cole wants her to be there for Joanie but not be his wife. Um...okay. That sucks.
I'm definitely interested to see how Vic handles the news of the baby. I saw that coming a mile away. Helen has had so many crazy things happen to her. Her daughter is a total nut job. What Vic was saying about being on the "other side" was freaking me out! Made me think too much and gave me major anxiety.
Ben - I can't believe that f-er showed up at her wake.

Re: The Affair
I knew that the announcement of the neighbor being pregnant was coming. I think Vic will be happy to know he is having a child, I think he feels like he owes it to his parents since it seems for him all he wants in his life is to make them happy. I think Helen will get back together with Noah eventually. I am not a fan of the way Cole has treated Luisa but it will be interesting to see how it goes for him now that Allison has passed. I hated that Ben showed up to the memorial. I hope he gets caught.

I'm still not convinced Ben killed her. We saw two versions of the story. We really dont know which is true.
