Palm Beach to Orlando

We are thinking flying into Fort Lauderdale, renting a car, and staying 5 nights at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Then we want to drive to Orlando, stay 3 nights in Disney, and fly home from Orlando. Do you think that is too much for a 1 week trip?

I don't think it's too much! Heck, in 10 days, we flew to California, spent 6 nights at Disneyland, then flew to West Yellowstone (with a connection in SLC), and spent 3 nights at Yellowstone! I will say, we were exhausted when we got home last week from all the traveling, but had a good time. I said go for it!

If possible Id do parks in early part of your week and then beach to relax after.

After doing parks you feel like you need a vacation.

Beach/Orlando is the only way I do Disney.

I honestly think that the Disney parks are a 2-3 day thing... my next trip I will only do the parks for 2 days... but we go decently often so that if we miss something, we will get it the next time. But I don’t find it super stressful either and except for this trip, have bought tickets a few days before.

Thanks, ladies!! I don't think I could ever do a full week in Disney. My in laws want to take us but we have started to talk about combining a beach trip with Disney, and they have heard great things about The Breakers.

Breakers is beautiful but very $$$. I’ve visited but never have stayed.

Go for it! The 2 are not far apart.

I could not imagine doing it any other way...
