I copied this from a post on fox news on FB regarding Trumps admitting mistake of what he said in meeting with putin.

This is why Trump supporters support him. We DO NOT want socialism, open borders, the loss of our religious freedom, and a corrupt government. That’s what we are concerned about, not this Russian meddling thing. That is why he got voted in and that’s why he will be voted in again in 2020 if he chooses to run. If he doesn’t, I wouldn’t blame him one bit. We focus on the positive aspects of his presidency. We focus on why he met with Putin in the first place. The reporters and the left focus on how much they hate the guy and want him out. We don’t care if he pleases all the politicians or not. We don’t care if he makes a mistake in judgement now and then. We don’t care if he’s not perfect in grammar. We look at the whole picture, the future of our country. We really don’t care if he doesn’t hate Putin. We believe the FBI is corrupt. So that’s why we support him. Believe what you want but you can ask any supporter and they will tell you the exact same thing. Good day!

I know I'm preaching to the choir... but just venting...

We don't want socialism.... except for the Internet that I use to post this, the roads I drive on, the fire, police, and military that keeps me safe, auto, home, and life insurance (which is a form of socialism, since everyone pays in, but not everyone "benefits" from)...

Our "open borders" are actually letting more people in last year than previous years. Under Obama, illegal border crossings dropped year after year. He was also criticized for deporting more immigrants than previous Presidents...

Unless you are non-Christian, you're not losing religious freedom. All non-Christians (including non-religious) are seeing THEIR religious freedoms cut at every turn....

The government is more corrupt now than it ever was, and that's saying a lot, since I agree that a lot of government is corrupt (just based on people in power who have been arrested for actual political related crimes...)

"We're not concerned about the Russian meddling thing".... So basically, who cares about American Democracy as long as "we" win... That's about as anti-American as you can get!

"We don't care if he makes mistakes in judgement now and then".... It both NOW *and* THEN, and every time in-between! All he does is make mistakes in judgement.... and his advisers and supports even agree with that.

"We believe the FBI is corrupt"... wow, more Anti-American belief with no facts or reasoning other than the kool-aid that is being dished out by IQ45 and Fox...


Basically, as long as *other* people are being hurt, and I get to be racist, bigoted, and can blame someone else for everything, I don't care what happens to this country...
... until a Democrat gets in power, and then everything that they do, even if it's verbatim of what the Republicans do, is totally wrong and the Democrat should be impeached....

It's the utmost in Party over Country... which is also very un-American...

The whole MAGA mantra is to make it the best in the world... How can his goal be reached if he is continually making us the laughing stock of the world?

Per my Trump supporting boss, who's business is being negatively impacted by the trade war due to increased cost of supplies, the trade war is great because Trump is finally standing up to other countries, and while things might cost more now, it's going to benefit us in the end because Trump is such a great negotiator and he's just playing hard ball. He also supports the trade war because he was talking to an onion farmer, and the onion farmer told him that Canada limits the amount of onions they import from the US, and he doesn't think that's fair.

Seriously, I can't make this stuff up.

I’m all for socialism, but not communism.

Unfortunately, he will probably be voted in again, but we shall see how that works out in November.
