Having DC's friends over during the summer
This is silly but I'm going to ask anyway. A lot of DC's friends have pools and have had us over for pool parties. We don't have one. I want to reciprocate but what do I do with a bunch of kids when it's hot outside Keep them inside? I don't have a car big enough to take them all to the beach.

Do the parents usually stay at these pool parties? Maybe you could all meet at the beach but offer to supply lunch?

Water balloons, a sprinkler (kids love this). I also bought color run powder for an end of the school year party- the kids LOVED this

We don’t have a pool and neither do any of my kids’ friends. We have a slip & slide, soccer nets, a pitch back, a basketball hoop, chalk, skateboards, scooters, bubbles, assorted balls, etc for outside. Inside, we have board games, a tv, Nintendo Switch, craft supplies, and a finished basement. They can figure it out from there.

I'm sure it depends on the age and interests of the kids but my kindergartener and her friends are thrilled just to have the chance to see each other and play with toys.
