Re: cleanse/detox recommendations?
Just start eating clean. Drink a ton of water. There is no such thing as "detoxing". It's all just scams. Your liver detoxs you every day. If it's doesn't, you are in trouble.

What Nell said. You would be in the hospital if your liver wasn't working.

Re: cleanse/detox recommendations?
Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living. The program targets the root cause of many health disorders and diseases - inflammation. It can help you lose the belly bloat, clear up your skin, drop those stubborn lbs, increase your energy, resolve digestive issues, improve sleep, reduce headaches and joint pains, manage anxiety, and so much more, so you can feel happy and healthy on the inside and look your very best on the outside. Not just for 30 days, but for the rest of your life.
It's a clean eating plan that you can sustain whether home, traveling, at school, or out to eat. It is about easy, clean substitutions, not radical deprivation.
You drink 2 plant based protein shakes a day, 1 clean meal, probiotics and digestive supplements and fizz sticks and detox tea to replace the caffeine in coffee and soda.
if you want more info, let me know.

If you want to drop some water bloat before your vacation, try the Jillian Michaels tea. It's Dandelion root tea, 1 tablespoon of UNSWEETENED cranberry juice (the really bitter on that is expensive, not the cocktails or ocean spray) 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 60 oz of water. Brew the tea in a little bit of boiling water for about 5-10 minutes first then dump it in the water, cranberry and lemon juice Drink that up every day for like 5 days It makes you pee a lot and kind of flushes out any water bloat you are holding on to. I do this before trips sometimes just to get rid of some of that water retention. it does work

I would also say to cut carbs out completely. It’s not easy but you will feel so much less bloated, and quickly.

Yep. I never realzied this- DUH- but carbo-HYDRATE. Carbs retain water. I always feel SO bloated after pasta or a carb heavy meal. Now I know why.

I love this so much. I laugh every time I see “detox” anything, unless it’s drug related.

Yup. Every gram of glycogen (carbs) needs 3-4 grams of water to process.
What is interesting is that any food requires an immense amount of water to digest. Supposedly every day double the amount of your blood volume of WATER is used to process food. (Experts estimate for dinner most folks need 2-3 litres of water just to process the food.) All that water can be up to 15 pounds a day.
That is why when most folks go off Keto they gain immediately because more water is needed in the system to process. They're not gaining fat back, they're gaining water. (Until they get discouraged and then go off the rails.)

Re: cleanse/detox recommendations?
Detoxes are scams as a PP said.
I have heard that the cabbage soup diet is good for a week to jump start a diet. I’ve never tried it. Whenever I needed to lose weight, I just did protein and veg. It’s actually what I prefer now.
