Bathroom remodels

Hi all. We are in the process of buying our house!! There’s two bathrooms that we’d like to redo right away once we move in. Just looking for ranges on how much you spent on remodeling your bathroom. My DH is handy, he owns his own drywall company so he can do that part himself, and my cousin lays tile so we have that part covered. Tia!

Bathroom remodels

We just gutted our bathroom a few months ago down to the studs. My DH and two of his friends did mostly all of it themselves. When all was said and done we spent like $3500.00. (new tile, flooring, tub, vanity, paint, light fixtures, etc) The only person we paid to do any kind of labor was to put up the sheetrock and get it ready for paint. (That was 800.00 of it)

Re: Bathroom remodels

My dh did my bathroom himself...soup to nuts. It's tiny but full soaking tub.
He gutted it completely and we went higher end on the materials and finishes and we spent between $4 and $5k on materials alone. Again it is tiny. (5 ×6) So we didn't need a ton of tile, drywall etc.

(And it's stunning!)

We redid 2 bathrooms - but only paid for materials, (ex)DH did all the work. One bathroom was probably close to $12K in materials (went all out plus it involved expanding the size of the bathroom and rearranging plumbing) and the other (pics in an album) was probably around $6K - kept the original footprint for that one
