Backsplash and Handle Help

Almost there with this kitchen renovation. Counter top template was done this morning so hopefully counters will be in soon enough. Now the backspash

I like the herringbone pattern, but not sure about the small tiles because i feel like it's becoming too busy. Unless I get one that has less color - but then I feel like it's too boring! Total Goldie Locks moment here

This is the kitchen so far and the backsplash I thought would work

I think if I do this pattern, i would rather it be done with Bigger tiles - sort of like this size

but with an assortment of colors like the other one. I don't think it exists lol

I'm also stuck on handles. I thought I wanted a simple knob on cabinets and a cupped pull on the drawers but now I'm thinking maybe the same hands on cabinets AND drawers. Oil rubbed bronze to match the rest of my house.

HELP

Re: Backsplash and Handle Help

Tough choice. I like both.

I feel like the smaller more colorful tile would work well because there isn't so much wall to cover. It's not too much color and goes very well with your countertop.

On the other hand, the larger subway tile in all white looks stunning, makes for a very light airy feel.

I was looking at houses in SC and kind of like the all white kitchen with just hints of gray or navy.

How does the darker cabinet look with the grey backsplash?

I think you can go with either. As for handles, what kind of faucet did you pick? I would have handles/pulls match the faucet.

Yeah my handles match my appliances down to the shape- I’m so annoying like that

As far as the tiles I’ve learned that bigger tiles gives you less little grooves/grout to clean so I’d try and find larger colorful tiles

I like the smaller colorful ones with a dark grout, but I would lay them vertically.

Re: Backsplash and Handle Help

I like the first one.

If I had the white one, I’d be constantly cleaning it. I have white now and I hate it.

I’d probably do silver handles because of your fridge. I don’t like knobs on cabinets.

Re: Backsplash and Handle Help

Thanks everyone. I've definitely decided on handles for cabinets instead of knobs. Just don't know which ones yet lol

I have these pendants so I will do an oil rubbed bronze - but nothing too bulky

Backsplash - I'm still on the fence. Countertops will be in end of the month, and my tile guy is sending me to a place he said is really good with design - so I'll grab a couple samples and hopefully find the right one

Stay tuned...
