Hairdryers - question
My old hair dryer crapped out, had it for years and loved it. It was a Remington. I went and got another Remington, I think it's 1875 watts (I don't know what the last one was). It blows way too hard. It's difficult to use as you are trying to day the hair you have in the brush and it is blowing you hair all over, plus blowing things off the counter LOL
Any suggestions for another dryer that isn't so strong
TIA

Re: Hairdryers - question
Look for one that has a separate setting for speed and heat. I have a Revlon- cheap, got it at Target, that has 2 different controls- so you can have high heat with a low speed. I can't use high speed either- it blows my hair right off my head and I have zero control of it.

Re: Hairdryers - question
I am using the low speed and it is still so strong. I was thinking maybe a less watt but I want to be sure before I go get another one

So what I do is use that divertor thing it comes with- did yours come with one?
The little pink thing at the bottom of this pic is what I am talking about

Yes that helps a lot because it directs the flow of air right where you want it rather than blowing haphazardly and blowing the rest of your hair all over the place.
