Renting : minivan or a truck

Hey all- need some opinions here

Hopping a flight to Canada next week. Me, hubby, three kids (9, 5, and 2-one car seat) , and my parents. Hubby and dad aren’t small.

Two suitcases. Prob two carry ons (like a longchamps bag and one diaper bag size)
Maybe one umbrella stroller if I get to a store and get one
Most likely one car seat

Airport is 20/30 minutes away from where we have to be. Driving while we’re there - we are ten minutes away from each of three places we have to go to.

Should we rent a huge thing like a suburban or do you think we’ll be ok with a minivan

Either way we know a guy so we’re getting the car considerably cheaper than what it would usually cost so that’s not a factor

We rented a minivan with 4 people, which included a car seat and a carriage and had no room for any more luggage. We had 3 pieces of luggage and 3 carryons.
So unless you are carrying light I would get a suburban.

Renting : minivan or a truck

You might be better off renting two cars or getting the mini van and having your parents Uber to and from the airport and then drive with you to your local destinations in the mini van.
