Best places to stay by Hershey
Thinking of doing Hershey with the kids this summer. I know we can stay at the Eden but is there any place closer? Thanks so much!

There are a bunch of hotels very close to Hershey.
From Hershey Hotel and Hershey Lodge to Courtyard by Marriott type hotels.

We actually stayed at the Hershey Lodge. We had no issues, aI know many people have said there was a bad smell in their room. We never had that. We stayed near the pool, which has a small indoor water park. There are shuttles that take you to the park.

We're staying at Hershey Lodge. We priced out the lodge and surrounding hotels and there wasn't much of a price difference. We also booked when hershey was having a special if you booked by March 31st.

Totally recommend the Homewood Suites in East Harrisburg. It's about 10 minutes from the park.
It's all suites. Indoor pool. And a really nice outdoor courtyard with a putting green, basketball court, shuffleboard, and corn hole.
Free hot breakfast in the morning. Free happy hour drinks, and free dinner if you stay during the week. Clean. Friendly. And rooms are anywhere from $120-$230 for a 1 bedroom suite (2 rooms with a door that separates them).
Cannot beat it. This summer will be our fourth time there.
Our total for 3 nights this summer is $480!

We usually stay at the Springhill Suites in Hershey. It’s a nice hotel and very close to the park.

Best places to stay by Hershey
We usually stay at the Residence Inn Harrisburg Hershey. It's about 10 minutes from the park. It's free for us with points, that's why we pick it. But, it's pretty good. Indoor/outdoor pools, and free breakfast.
We have stayed at the Hershey Lodge, and it's super convenient to just take the bus. The waterpark is cute. It's super expensive there, and our room smelled musty (Fifth Avenue room).
We also like the Suites at Hershey, which is so close to the park (You can see it from the window). It's a timeshare place though, so you have to rent a stay from an owner typically. I've found it on ebay and facebook. It's 2 bedrooms/2 baths, indoor/outdoor pool, and super nice!
