finding reviews online
I'm trying to lookup reviews and the BBB rating for a company I'm about to hire for a big masonry project. Their FB page only has 5 reviews. They have a nice website and the owner has been really great. I can't find them on the BBB though. Any tips for finding where there might be bad reviews hiding?

Did you do a Google search?
See if anything pops up therr. Maybe even do a search on here. Never know maybe someone else on here used them.

Thanks guys! I've tried all those things and nothing at all comes up, except the 5 FB reviews. Angie's list doesn't have them listed as a company. The state website to check their NYS license is down, so I will have to call tomorrow to make sure it's active.
The guy said he's been in the business a long time. So it just makes me wonder if I'm missing something. The company name is also pretty generic, so if you google it, a bunch of random landscaping articles come up. So I googled the phone number and owners name. I guess if someone was really unhappy, there would be something on FB, it's not like companies can remove bad reviews. I just get nervous that I haven't done enough research.
