Gift for Christmas for a Handyman ..
I know it’s only October ! But I so wanted to ask ! Would u prefer to gift a
A) bottle of wine and cookies
B) Bottle of wine and one of those handwarmers - hot hands box from Sams Hopefully they sell it this year !
Live in apartment complex and two of them really do a great Job and are out and about in winter and clean and work on the trash etc and above all come when we call for complaints
Or please let me know your suggestions ( reasonable ones Would prefer a non cash item
I have too many people on my list and need to make a budget!

Re: Gift for Christmas for a Handyman ..
I think either are nice and would be appreciated. However, not everyone drinks, so I wouldn't do the wine unless you know they do.
I know you said non-cash, but I think a $25 or a gift card for the same amount would be more appreciated so they can spend it as they want. You don't gave to spend a fortune and it'll cost about the same as your wine and cookies or hand warmers gift.

Agree with above. Not everyone drinks. Wine and cookies or hand warmers will probably run $25. I would just give cash. Everyone can use and appreciate the money at that time of the year.

buy a box of chocolate or bag of Ghirardlli variety bag. Both usually on sale around holiday time and a card with a notes is perfect.
boom done. I'm not a fan of GC

My DH used to be in that line of work. He would get a nice card from some of the tenants with cash in it and would be so appreciative. I know you said you rather not do cash, but I think that's the best thing.

Gift for Christmas for a Handyman ..
My problem is there is a super who just manages stuff He has an assistant who works somewhat And these 2 who do most of the work
So there is a total of 4 of them
I think I will do 20 cash each for these 2 and maybe buy a wine gift x4 and this way no one feels off I worry if I give these 2 the other 2 will be offended and not sure if these guys will discuss it with the super and assistant Hope not.! Or maybe just give these two 25 and call it a day

I'm still confused by your reasoning. Just forget the wine and give all 4 cash. When we lived in apartment buildings with a big staff (and I'm talking 10+ people), I would give $10 cash to some of the more junior people. Give what you can afford, but buying a bottle of wine is not less expensive than giving a GC or cash. There's no rule saying what the minimum has to be. If every resident gave $10, I'm sure they'd be happy as it adds up!

Gift for Christmas for a Handyman ..
I am sure the super gets paid more than these 2 guys. He has an assistant who also does not do much. It’s these two who do the most and So would like to give them both only. Will that cause an issue ? That’s why the wine keeps popping up so I could do that for all 4 and give cash for these two in addition...
