Anyone Vegan or Plant Based?

About 4 weeks ago, I started a Whole Food Plant Based diet. Right now, I am 100% WFPB at home and doing my best when I go out. I'm doing it for both health reasons and weight loss. Down 10lbs so far. I think, ultimately, my goal is to eat 80% plant based/20% not- but 100% whole foods (nothing processed)

Prior to starting this, I hadn't eaten red meat/pork for 28 years and was a vegetarian at different points in life. I don't miss chicken/turkey, am okay just having fish when I'm out- but man, do I miss cheese & eggs!

Just wondering if anyone else does it and wants to share recipes, tips/tricks, etc.

Tomorrow will be three weeks I stopped eating meat. Motivated after I saw the game changers documentary on Netflix. I feel better and do not miss meat yet but now three weeks into it I am having trouble not overloading on carbs..so need to improve on that. I just borrowed three vegetarian cookbooks from the library. Tonight I am having cauliflower veggie stir fry with tofu and avocado...also looking for tips/tricks and recipes..good luck! I have maybe lost 1-2 pounds.

I toy with the idea on and off, but I'm not a fan of cooking so eating healthy vegan would be difficult. I need to get in the habit of batch cooking on Sunday so I have plenty to last the week.

My bf is pescatarian so it's easy to avoid going to meat heavy restaurants and I've avoided red meat and pork for almost 20 years (I occasionally backslide on bacon, though). Giving up cheese and chicken would be really difficult so I feel like I'd allow a cheat day for that stuff so I don't have to give it up completely.
