Just Sharing..we need a little positivity

So, my DH is an essential worker in a hospital in Manhattan. He's been working on the front-lines all along. He is not patient facing, he's in management of facilities- but he's been heavily involved in all aspects of COVID prep & procedure for the hospital. He was also on the team to move bodies once they passed away.
He had his antibody test and results were negative. He & I were both sick with upper-respiratory infections in February and we wondered if it was the virus. Now we know it wasn't (at least for him & we were sick at the same time with the same symptoms, so I likely didn't have it).
We followed all protocol he was told- he changed clothes and showered as soon as he came home. He was properly outfitted in all PPE at work when he was supposed to be. Beyond that, we wore masks if out and unable to social distance- that's it.
We had quite a few people we knew who were sick (including people on his team at work) and we have had friends pass away. I am not down-playing the virus or commenting on precautions anyone else did or didn't take. Just taking a moment to be thankful that my husband is healthy. I spent many sleepless nights and at times, worry & anxiety consumed me. We are not "in the clear yet", but I'm hopeful we're on our way to a new normal that we can all tolerate and hopefully even enjoy soon.

Great news. Looks like the safety measures he is taking at work are working.
Hope he continues to stay healthy!
