End of year teacher gifts
What are you getting for your kid's teachers this year?
I feel like supporting local smaller businesses like a bookstore but don't know when stores like that are opening.

End of year teacher gifts
I’m a class mom and giving a class gift to my older kids teacher. Will NOT be giving an individual gift, bc I wasn’t her biggest fan.
My middle kid, I contributed to the class gift, and gave the class mom extra. I also gave a VERY generous individual gift (they weren’t paid the past few months). Dropped it off at her house, but I had her address.

Same. How would you even give it to them?
We have one day next week where we are allowed to get our child’s belongings so I guess that would be it for us. I will likely just get a Panera gift card like I did for Christmas and write a heartfelt card thanking for everything this year. It hadn’t even crossed my mind with everything going lately. I know there’s some people on here pissed off with their kids teachers because of distance learning though so I suspect many will be getting lumps of coal. Maybe I should buy stock

LOL. Good idea.
We got her belongings last month. I think they have a day at the end of this month to return instruments and borrowed Chromebooks but I don't even know if the teachers will be there that day.
I am guessing the class mom may take a collection and send her an e-gift card. I will contribute to that if they do it.

A volunteer mom from the class that organizes collections for teacher gifts and organizes like who brings in what when there are holiday parties in class...they might have other duties that I’m not aware of.

End of year teacher gifts
I’m class mom I collected $100 a family in the beginning of the year for various events/ gifts. My boys have a little pre school parade today to pick up portfolios and drop off teacher gifts while class will be there so it will be nice closure. I did a flower pot that I personalizes with my cricut and planted flowers, 2 books, and a gift card and I got their music teacher and the head of the school gift comes from the whole school donation. I ordered from amazon everything for the bags

I donated to the class gift.
I was going to get giftcards for DS 1's teachers to local restaurants though originally.

Thank for the reminder! My son graduates 5th and they’re having a ceremony (parade in the car and we drive through a balloon arch) on Thursday so I’ll give it to her then.

End of year teacher gifts
Our class moms are using the money leftover from collecting in the beginning of the school year to buy the teacher a gift card and some other little items. The teacher is doing a drive by to each students house to drop off an end of the year gift, so I picked up a pretty potted flower so my DD has something to give to her too. I’ll have her write out a thank you card too.
