Any reviews or recs? Thinking of heading there this month as our trip to Myrtle Beach isn't happening.
Thanks!

Re: Ocean City Maryland
We love it there. We plan to go in August. I recommend staying decently north of thr boardwalk where it’s quieter and easier to social distance.
So many good restaurants and take out. A lot of activities but not sure we will do much this year.
Driving and parking is pretty easy so don’t be afraid if you have to drive 30 blocks for a restaurant or something.
Last year we did: Go karts at jolly Rogers Walked the boardwalk Playground and art fest at 125th street park (day we arrived and had to wait to check in) Mini golf Assateague boat cruise thing Rented a 4 person trolly bike thing on the boardwalk.
Fav restaurants Hooked Rope walk (playground for kids) Makeys Fractured prune Ocm crabs Crab cake factory (to go)
This year we may just stay in our condo and do more take out. Not planning on any activities other than maybe mini golf. My colleague was just there on 4th of July and said people were distancing and he felt comfortable in the outdoor restaurants. So we will see when we get there.

Thanks!
I was looking for a place that had a beach, a pool, activities, wasn’t too far, and had a Marriott so we can use hotel points and Ocean City met all of those criteria.

There are a few - but we decided on the Courtyard on the Boardwalk since the others were a bit farther from the beach. I really wanted to stay at the aLoft though.

Re: Ocean City Maryland
Bumping...how many days do you recommend staying? We were thinking of doing Washington DC on the way back for 1 night (since my son missed out on their school trip last year)

I don't love Ocean City - I prefer the Delaware beaches there - Rehoboth & Bethany are great. You can go to Ocean City to go mini golfing or similar but in general I find it way too crowded, which isn't what I personally look for in a beach vacation.

I thought it was too busy for my liking as well, we stayed on the Boardwalk and in the evening it was mobbed (and this was during Covid).
We usually go to Myrtle Beach which has crowded areas but we tend to stick to less crowded places.
