Do you think schools will go back to normal in a year or so? Virtual learning seems to be big across the country right now. I think mainly in places that are worse off. It’s dreadful for me to think about this being the new normalChat Icon

No I think we’ve all seen the importance of actually being in the school building. I can’t imagine by next september that we won’t be back in school

Schools will go back to “normal” eventually. Hopefully a treatment or vaccine is developed in a timely fashion.

I think the look of new school building will change. Design of classrooms, use of technology will all change.

I don’t think kids will be on top of each other like they are. Growing up we were always spaced out in rows until I moved to the east coast and then it was cram every one in.

I think school will go back to all in person next year. I do though hope that districts keep up with the technology and realize that certain kids maybe able to learn from home while still being part of the actual school. It would really help out in the future for kids who are home ill for an extended period, children with school anxiety, etc. to be able to have options that may be more beneficial than attending a brick and mortar school.

I think at some point EVERYTHING in our lives, including school, will go back to normal. None of these measures are sustainable long term and humans thrive and NEED human contact and interaction. I think everything we're doing is a temporary solution to a problem but long term, schools will return to normal as will life, masks will be done with and social distancing will end.

On a side note, I certainly have NO desire to live like this forever.
