Cleaning wood cabinets
Since getting white cabinets, all I see is hand prints and dirt all over them- especially in the area where you open them. Seems using a handle is optional. How do you clean yours? I know they are wood, but I don't feel like pledge is the right thing to use on them. Do I just use a multi purpose spray cleaner and a paper towel to wipe away marks? I don't want to damage the finish. They are maple, but in a pure white finish.

I have white wood cabinets. I clean them using a damp microfiber cloth. With either white vinegar & Water or the ammonia free vinegar windex cleaner.

Cleaning wood cabinets
I used cellulose cloths with either a tiny bit of dawn or a natural all purpose spray (biokleen).

I read online about using vinegar but I always get nervous with vinegar because it's acidic I guess it works though!

Cleaning wood cabinets
Don't use anything with a chemical. Get a spray bottle and add a little dish soap and water. Then use a microfiber cloth, old t-shirt or towel or paper towels.

I do this but with diluted vinegar in a spray bottle.

I use Murphy's Oil Soap.
I remember I had a bottle of that when I had my old cabinets- also maple but more of that orangey oaky finish. I would mix it up in a bucket and clean them all with a sponge every now and then. But I need something for more dya to day wipe downs- fingerprints and dirt smudges show so much more on the white cabinets. I wonder if I did Murphys oil diluted in a spray bottle for quick touch ups.
I will also try some of the other suggestions.
Not sure why this was stumping me. LOL

It’s not a lot of vinegar
I fill a spray bottle about 3/4 with water, 1/4 white vinegar and a pump of dawn dish soap. It’s a great mix. Works well on everything including the floors when I do a quick swiffer
