Robert Moses park
Looking for a casual nice place to eat Saturday early evening.
We are taking a day trip to Robert Moses park, and walking the Lighthouse and beach area.
Looking for suggestions- pref out door seating
Thanks

Re: Robert Moses park
There is a restaurant on Fire Island where you will end up when you do that walk. Did you want to eat there or somewhere else after you walk back?

Re: Robert Moses park
Surf's Out in Kismet is in Fire Island where you'll be walking to. Check them out.
If you want to go elsewhere, Bayshore isn't too far and there are a ton of restaurants there and a nice town/main street to walk around.

Just an FYI, Surfs Out is closed for the season, but the Inn is still open

I don't know which way you are headed home but The Salt Shack may be open at Cedar Beach on Ocean Parkway. They have good casual food. If you want something casual in Bay Shore, I would recommend Coastal or Local Burger. You could go to Babylon too...they have Babylon Burger Bar, Post Office Cafe, Tricia's Cafe and Swell Taco. All of those places are kid friendly.
