Trump's life after Presidency
How do you think his life will be once he is no longer President. I would think there may be some backlash with his business associates?

I think he will fade away into insanity.
I think we will see the Republican Party continue to distance themselves from him, they need to revamp themselves after this nightmare. Upon becoming a private citizen he can more easily be censored on Twitter and other social media platforms which takes away his voice. The media HATES him anyway so they will stop giving him ANY publicity or attention. Business associates will start to separate from him, he isn't good for their image. Melania will probably divorce him at which point he can sit in his bedroom and stew over the lost election until he's dead. Realistically, I think in time this country will move on from him, even his lunatic supporters. If he isn't in our face anymore and cannot control anything he will lose his luster, he will just be some guy that nobody needs to pay attention to. I don't think that SANE people will even want him for speaking engagements like other former presidents, he's a treasonous moron.
At some point the world will move on from him and quite honestly, with his inactivity and diet I wouldn't expect him to even be around long anyway.

I hope that whatever public platform he takes (creates a new Twitter acct, etc) that the media stops covering his crazy rants.
I'm guessing the $400,000 that he owes will probably keep him busy for a while since he can't seem to keep money in his pocket when it comes to successful businesses.

If he's not in prison, or he hasn't fled the country, I think he will be in a hideaway somewhere (he can't legally live at Mar-a-Lago) and post stuff on Parler. Since that is an extremist right-wing echo chamber with no rules, he'll love it there.

He can't legally live in Mar-a-Lago. Scotland doesn't want him.
If even a small fraction of lawsuits against him are successful, he'll have guaranteed government housing for many years...

Melania seems to think she can live at Mar-a-Lago forever, she has be redecorating like crazy. Here's hoping the city holds them accountable to the law that nobody can live there full time and they kick them out.

Why can't he live there?
He signed a legal document, I think in 1993, to convert the estate to a club. As part of the agreement to do that, there are restrictions on how long anyone can stay there, both single visits, and total time each year.

In the letter to Palm Beach officials obtained by The Washington Post, the residents cited an agreement Trump signed in 1993 to convert the facility to a private club, which they said bars him from using it as a primary residence. The agreement bars members from spending more than 21 days per year there or for more than seven days straight.
They asked the town to formally advise the president he cannot make the club his permanent residence and calls on local officials to “avoid an embarrassing situation” after he leaves the White House.
