If Trump is larger than life...
Mike Pence is definitely on the other end of the spectrum. This guy is so bland and nondescript, my husband fell asleep watching him and I'd be right there with him if I wasn't typing on the computer.

Yeah he's a snooze fest.
And believes smoking doesn't cause cancer and doesn't believe in global warming.
His wife also sells towel charms. Yes, towel charms.
Also critiqued working moms. "“Sure, you can have it all,” he wrote in a 1997 letter to the Indianapolis Star. “But your day-care kids get the short end of the emotional stick.”
Oh and he's all about women staying home but is against any sort of maternity leave for women who work.
He's also anti gay and abstinence only education.
Not my kinda guy.

I'm sure that was intentional....................egotistical Trump wouldn't want to have compete with his VP for the limelight.

Towel charms are.. "The least useful item in existence."

She has suspended her shop for now. They are little charms so you can identify your towel from another family member...
I guess that's what happens when your hubby doesn't believe you should work and is against paid leave .. I guess you develop towel charms or something.

Re: If Trump is larger than life...
I am a on the fence voter. As I don't like either candidate. But Trump Choosing Pence for me was a very bad choice. I really don't like Hillary and I am not very happy about Pence. He sickens me! I really think I need to just not vote. How can I when none of them represent my values and family.

Did you read the entire Letters? Just wondering because that was not the jist of the letter plus it was 19 years ago. Hilary less than 19 years ago did not support gay marriage, pipeline...the list will go on.

She does not support illegals coming into the U.S. She supports legal immigration and a path to citizenship for illegals currently in the U.S.

If Trump is larger than life...
Look, we all know politics is a game and everyone flip flops to garner the most appeal and votes during elections.
That said - there is a difference between flip-flopping and being completely backwards and out of touch with reality. Republican pols are paid to refute climate change, abortion bans, support GMOs/Monsanto, etc. That to me is worse than Hillary and her emails and the Benghazi fiasco that proved nothing.

Yes, Hillary didn't come out for gay rights until 2013. That's why I don't feel she's progressive.

Definitely a game but also a matter of feelings, emotions and beliefs. Sometimes people are not aware that when you belittle a political party you are also belittling someone's own beliefs. Having your own political stance is great, encouraged but not completely necessary to always stand on a soap box to downgrade the other party. Just my own opinion.

Yes.
Her tune has changed because times have changed.
The Republican's record on social issues is something they are going to deal with if they want to stay viable.
When it comes to human rights, we won't go backward.
Many of us have young children. They are ALL going to grow up knowing marriage equality.
We all know what it was like up until recently, but how is the next generation going to square the outdated beliefs of the Republican platform with the LAW OF THE LAND?
They're an anachronism at this point.

So Hillary changing her "tune" after several years is not ok even though times change. How about trump changing his after less than a year back and forth, about as often as the wind changes? Is that ok? Serious question because I often hear by trump supporters how Hilary is a flip flopper and therefore she can't be trusted but it's ok for trump when he's done it multiple times in just the one year since he announced his candidacy? I just don't understand the double standard.

ITA- I have no issues with someone's stance evolving over time- but Trump changes his mind with remarkable and scary speed (i.e. his comments about punishing women who get abortions).
