Scheduling Covid Vaccine in NYC
Hi. My parents have asked me to schedule the Covid vaccine for them. They live in the Bronx. I have managed to put them on a waiting list. Have you heard of anyone actually getting called from the waiting list? Or, is it just a black hole? I don't know if I should keep trying or wait. My parents don't want to travel too far, so I picked a place convenient for them.

Scheduling Covid Vaccine in NYC
It's impossible to get an an appointment and it's so frustrating. My mom needs one. She's on LI so she can't use the NYC sites but all of the NYS are unavailable.
They just opened Yankee Stadium for Bronx residents. Not sure if you can get an appointment there.

What about Yankee stadium? My grandmother lives in Riverdale and received the vaccine at the Fort Washington Armory through NY Presbyterian. It’s for NYC residents only.

Thanks. I actually just went on the site. They originally said they didn't want to go there because it's further away for them. But, I think that's where they'll end up.

I heard a few people said the Javits center had low lines. I know Walgreens now has it, not sure of the locations.

Yes I took my 92 year old grandmother there. Easy and only 10 minutes from her apartment in the Bronx.
