Has anyone been able to schedule a Covid vaccine today??
I've been trying to get through all morning to schedule one for an elderly family member. This is ridiculous. Has anyone been successful? It's all either busy signals or just rings and rings.

I live in a different area of NYS, but no one who I work with has been able to schedule an appointment.

I'm at a school in the city but that didn't seem to matter.
My site is very close to the Nassau border so not so bad.

Has anyone been able to schedule a Covid vaccine today??
I had some friends who were successful but they had to make appointments in another county, at one of the hospitals that was built.
ETA - my friend just got an appt on 2/17.

I got my vaccine this morning!
I happened to check at the right time yesterday when they just opened up the new slots for today.

Has anyone been able to schedule a Covid vaccine today??
I was able to schedule an appointment for myself (airline employee), my mother(over 75) and my DH (essential with direct public contact) this am. All three of us are scheduled for Sunday 1/17 in the Bronx. I think that is the key - you have to look anywhere and everywhere in New York. I used the site in the above post and just moved down until I found one that had enough availability for the three of us.

Two co-workers of mine have been trying diligently for their moms; but the lines are busy. So far, two they got thru to, said they're not doing it and its wrong information on the site.
I read to call around midnight...?

Has anyone been able to schedule a Covid vaccine today??
Not all of the sites listed on the city website are accurate. I tried earlier today for my 92 year old grandmother to a site in the northwest Bronx and they were like we have no idea how our number got on there. All of the other sites in the Bronx are far away from her and in areas that she doesn't feel safe going to.

Also, I think if you are willing to go some of the larger mass vaccination sites you will have an easier time. I got lucky and got my first shot at a Northwell urgent care last Thursday night

Anyone have any info on if doctors offices will be getting the vaccines? My grandmother (92) is homebound and has a doctor come to her. I’m going to call and see if/when her doctor will have the vaccine so she can send a nurse to administer, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything.

My sister works in a school, which is why she was able to get an appointment.
I'm not eligible, nor is my DH or mother. My brother may be able to argue that he is eligible as he's considered essential- the auto parts supply he works at services FDNY and NYPD vehicles.

My mom was put on her Doctor's waiting list; and was told today they are getting them in next week.
However, there are a lot of Doctors offices that are not administering them so definitely call and ask.
