Outdoor griddle
Anyone have one? What do you cook on it? I cant seem to ever cook anything good on the grill and wondering if maybe I switch it out for a griddle instead.

Re: Outdoor griddle
I don’t have one but want one! I bought one for my nephew who loves to make hibachi food and he LOVES it. He also makes regular food on there, breakfast too.
Watch YouTube videos of people using them. It makes you want one immediately lol

Outdoor griddle
We have a blackstone. We also have a regular gas BBQ. We have used the blackstone a bunch of times for hibachi type food, sausage & peppers, chicken, veggies, hotdogs, etc. DH doesn't love the way it cooks burgers/bigger steaks. (I'm not really sure why as I don't eat meat, but he said it doesn't cook the same as a BBQ for that stuff- it comes out differently)

Re: Outdoor griddle
I got the Blackstone griddle last year, it's AMAZING. You can cook everything and anything on there. My favorite thing to make is complete breakfasts all at once, we eat outside on the deck and throw on more pancakes, eggs etc as needed. There aren't that expensive and if you enjoy cooking, it's worth the investment.
ETA - We also grill up sausage and peppers, veggies, burgers, grilled cheese, panini, stir fry etc. It's great for almost everything.

Re: Outdoor griddle
Can you just put a portable cast iron griddle on the BBQ? Not exactly the same, but it would be a cheaper easier way to start experimenting.

Do you cook steak or burgers on it? I can't cook either good on the grill so the grill at this point has become pretty useless for us.

Yes, we do. You can cook most everything on the griddle.
