Has anyone not received their tax refund yet?
We haven’t received anything yet. The guy who does our taxes said it may take a while because of my husband’s unemployment since he should be reimbursed the taxes he paid. However we’re going on 3 months. I’m not sure if it should take this long. We filed in April. I’m wondering if anyone is going through the same or if they work in the IRS and may have more info. TIA!

We filed in March and have not received our refund. There were a few news articles that the pandemic coupled with the fact that Trump gutted the number of staff at the IRS is having a massive effect on the ability to issue refunds.

Has anyone not received their tax refund yet?
Tax refunds that related to stimulus payments (majority) are being held up as they need to be reviewed. I received mine as I didn't qualify for a payment but the wife who did qualify and never received stimulus payment didn't receive her tax refund. Waiting since April.

We filed mid-March, we were due a substantial refund, received it in April. We were also owed stimulus money since we had a decreased in income. I took FMLA and PFL during the height of the pandemic in 2020 to minimize the time I spent exposed so I was getting separate checks from my PFL company and I didn’t have any issues. I would follow up with your accountant. Are you able to check the status online of your refund?

Did you check the irs site to see the status? I file in February and we received it really quick. They are really busy with doing additional refunds for the unemployment tax break and now the child tax break but I still think that’s a long time.

Yes I check daily and it says it’s being processed. It’s nearly impossible to reach someone at the IRS. I think I’ll try calling my accountant on Monday.
