missed deadline email - help

how do i politely tell someone that they missed the deadline to make their choice and they will get what they get.

i sent an email and a reminder... they replied the day after the deadline when the order was already placed.

i don't want to sound passive aggressive or b!tchy.

I would just say, unfortunately you missed the deadline, after numerous attempts to reach you by email. If you would like to continue with your order, I can do that or I can cancel if you don't prefer that item/color (etc whatever is different).
