EMail deleting
Do you ever just delete an email from a particular person (someone you know) without even reading it?
I do this with my aunt...she sends me the dumbest crap and fills my incoming box with nonsense....to the point that i just delete then all the time now...without even looking at it.

LOL! YEs I do that a lot...mainly just reading the subject. I hate some of the dumb jokes etc that waste my time. Just so you know, I normally only forward stuff I find very funny or useful , because it bugs me like crazy all the crap I get!

I do. My mom sends so much crap. Like those fake "This is my daughter who's missing" ones. I actually did a search once to prove that it was fake, sent her the link, and then she sent the same e-mail again like 3 months later

I always open emails, but scan quickly, and delete jokes that I've read before, or delete stupid attachments.
However, I'm sure that many delete my emails, because I always send MANY joke emails.

Oh, and sometimes I delete 'everytime someone replies' from LIF/LIW emails. Certain topics get completely bombarded sometimes.

My aunt and uncle have a habit of sending me emails that have been forwarded 9,000 times already rather then just sending me the original email. Those I delete rather than spend the 6 weeks it will take to open up the orignal subject!

I have people who do the SAME thing. I will prove to them they are NOT getting an outback Steakhouse Gift certificate for forwarding it to me, and still a month later I get one for Applebee's! It drives me NUTS

Yep, I delete nearly everything from one of my Uncles. He's a religious zealot and sends me all kinds of crap. I ignored him for a while, until he sent me a pro-life email with pics of aborted fetuses- that I happened to open at WORK! I was so PO'd, I cannot even tell you.

I know...and to boot, this woman never tries to contact me to just see how I'm doing. Mind you, she had major surgery after I left the company and I called her and sent her a get well card and this is the only way she ever contacts me! I have no patience for this crap! Sorry...done venting!
