moving.. help
if anyone moved recently, who did you use for your moving company? We are moving one town over, but i'm getting pretty stressed out and unsure how i'm going to do all of this!
Any other help advice on how to stay organized would be appreciated :)

moving.. help
We used Hall Lane when we moved 4 years ago. They came over to our house and looked at the stuff we needed to move and gave us an estimate. Then, the day of the move, it turned out that it took less time, so they actually gave us a partial refund aferwards. There were 5 men and 2 trucks.
I don't really have much advice about staying organized except to purge and pack as you go along between now and moving day. Like, pack your china and other things you don't use every day. If you can move some stuff yourself ahead of time, do that to save time/space for the movers.

Re: moving.. help
Start going through your pantry and freezer.
Any furniture you don’t want? Kitchen gadgets? Electronics? Sell them.
Go through closets and through clothes out. To not get overwhelmed I sometimes just do 10 mins a day and look at something. Try it on. Either like or hate it. Not sure? Leave out and wear it within a week. Don’t wear it? Get rid of it.
Pack up any books.
I’m currently also in the process of moving, but I went through a major clean out during lockdown and kept it that way. It’s still stressful, though.
