Gift suggestions?
A couple of moms in my neighborhood have helped us at various times throughout the school year with getting my kids off the bus and keeping them for a half hour so until my DH could get home. Each mom would do it, on average, maybe 3 x a month. I want to get them a thank you gift - I'm just not sure what or how much to spend. Any suggestions?

Re: Gift suggestions?
A gift card to a local restauarnt? Maybe a nice bottle of wine or vodka if you know they drink wine or vodka - lol As far as how much to spend, that is really up to you- I would probably do $50 each- depending on how many mom's we are talking about

The gift card was what I was thinking but I was also thinking $50 doesn't even cover dinner anymore. Maybe I'll get Macy's or the mall instead. Thank you for your input!

True about it not covering dinner but I always appreciate a gift card even if it desn't cover the whole meal- at least it reduces the cost. Every little bit helps! But yes Macys or the mall is good too. Even Amazon. Or Target. I spend the majority of my paychecks at Amazon and Target

I don't think the idea of a gift card is supposed to be to be able to cover the entire meal or item. It is just a nice gesture to help the person out.
Any gc would be appreciated I am sure

I agree with Amazon or Target. Even if you use it for groceries, there's always something at Target you can buy.
