Leaving for Kentucky this Thursday for a long weekend. Dh and I are going to a wedding on Saturday, but would like to know of some things we should see/restaurants to eat at... we dont have all that much time, but some advice would be appreciated!

I don't know how far you will be from the Ohio border but Montgomery Inn is amazing. It is literally on the border of Covington, KY and Cincinnatti, OH.
I am not too familiar with the KY side except for where to buy lotto tickets. My dad used to send me down there from school for lotto tickets.

we will be near the ohio border....
the wedding is in cold spring, but we are not staying there...
ever hear of the "german" town... someone was telling us about it.... is it worth going to? whats there to do?

sorry i missed you but I have heard of germantown. Its pretty nice. I hope someone tells you about the gorgeous mall in Cincinnatti, its off of 71.

wow- I am back... and it was completely different than what we expected...but we had fun, it was nice to get away for a little while, no work, no responsibilities, just relax and be with eachother
took delta- UHHH I hate delta-we were delayed on the runway for 2 hours (the fight took 1 1/2 hours)
and going home-we were delayed again-on the runway-but not as long...coming home we were on the smallest plane I had ever been on and I almost lost my cool!... I was so scared! BUT, we were fine of course...
-rained like CRAZY the first day we were there but then was sunny, freezing and windy, but sunny! we went to newport on the levee-ate there for lunch and dinner, went to the aquarium, a movie, and a comedy show
we went to the cincinnati zoo too
then the wedding-so different than what I expected
i did not know about the mall...: ( wish we would have
we stayed at the sheraton in sharonville ohio/in cincinnati area,it was a nice hotel, small bathroom, but clean, comfy bed, no frills, but we knew what we were getting with a sheraton
not much to do-but we still enjoyed ourselves!

oh by the way, we went to see xavier university too... it was a nice school
and we went to 'germantown" mainstrausse-
it was basically a few old buildings, german names-maybe a few shops-not much there
