Spinoff: Does anyone know the success rate for an IUI...

using injectables (follistim?) and no male or female factors.

I've had 5 natural or clomid IUI's and none of them worked so now I am curious to the % of the injectables.

so your diagnosis is enexplained infertility?

I know the IUI success rates are not much higher than naturall-but I dont know what the rates are combining IUI with injectables.

From I I have read and have been told A few percent more then with meds like clomid!!

I may be in the minority but I did injectables and got pregnant off of my first IUI.

Hi

I did a cycle of Follistem with IUI. It didn't work (boo hoo) But RE also wanted to see how I would respond to the drugs as I had a very bad reaction to Clomid, part of the reason for doing that was that we are going to start IVF. I had a good reaction to Follistem, I didn't get very sick like with the Clomid. I don't know about the percentages of success, sorry.
