The Outrage over the new Yankees Ornament...
It was on the news last night. People are outraged because they think it was in bad taste to release that ornament especially with the recent death of Cory Lidle...
If you haven't seen it it's Santa waving sitting inside a plane with the Yankees logo and colors.

I think the ornament was made before his death. It's just the timing of it's release. I remember getting that offer in the mail just recently.

I would say it would have had to been. The production/planning & licensing for things of that sort can take months, even a year.

Oh so it doesn't sound like it was done intentional. I had only just recently seen it and was like "wait a minute how could they release something like this after Lidle's death".

As much as Steinbrenner is a publicity hound, he has a heart of gold when it comes to tragedies. I have no doubt it wasn't intentional.

I got something in the mail for that several months ago. I beleive there is a mets one also same santa same plane, different colors.
