Beta Help-repost from Preg

I got my BFP yesterday and went to the DR for bloodwork. I just called and they said it came back + but my levels are really low. They are only at 17(5=preggo).
They wont even book a Dr appointment for me until my levels go up again.
AF was due Monday, so am i ok, or do i have a real reason to panic like i am doing right now.
I have to go back on Monday to get re-tested.

Your levels should go up after the test on Monday....supposedly they double every couple of days.... It could be that you are only a few weeks pregnant--you could have ovulated late this month. I had a friend who was only 2 weeks along when they thought it was 4...and her betas were low...maybe that is what this is?

I hope so... Its goign to be a long weekend of waiting and worrying.

try not to focus on the number. It's not the number that counts it's how much it increases.

Some pg's fail with beta's at 300 at 14dpo, some with low beta's go on to normal healthy pg's.
