what do people who live in high rise apartments do...
if say their furbaby has to go at like 3 in the morning? Are they trained to go on paper for this reason or are they schleping down elevators to get outside? Sorry if this sounds stupid, I was just thinking this morning how convenient it is for me to just open a door and let Kanga out.

well i live on the top floor.... which is only 4 floors, but its 6 sets of stairs.....
i let them use wee wee pads at night.

We were living in an apt in NYC with your Yorkie (up until about two months ago), and he went on wee wee pads.

We still use wee wee pads for the little ones b/c they cannot just be let out into the yard, they have to be walked on a leash. Bruno is only 5 lbs & cannot make it through the night on one pee-break.
We live in a house.
