When were you ready?
I'm 32 weeks today, and another mom on here mentioned to me that she had her son at 34 weeks. That would leave only 2 weeks if I went that early by chance.
So my question is, when did you get everything ready?
When did you have your hospital bag packed?
When did you have your nursery or baby-area ready?
When did you have your shower?
I haven't had my shower yet so we don't even have anything except for our hand-me-down bassinette from my husband's cousin. We aren't prepared at all, and I'm starting to worry that if I go early (sonos are showing my baby to be BIG) I won't have anything ready in time. We have to do some serious furniture moving and everything before there is room for the baby!
Eeek!

i packed my bag at 39 1/2 weeks!!! 
but I went 41 weeks...I always thought that if I went early that I would just pack at that point - most likely you won't have to run to the hospital...I did have a pile of stuff ready to be packed
we didn't have the nursery ready until after he was born...he was with us in the beginning
my shower was exactly one month before my due date

Cole was at 36 weeks -- I was scheduled to be induced at 38 weeks, so I was very surprised! I packed my bag at 3AM an hour after my water broke. My shower was supposed to be the day we ended up bringing him home, and the nursery was done when he was about 3 weeks old. I had about an hour to stress over it all, and then kind of winged everything.

My son was due May 25 and came June 1 (41 weeks)
When did you have your hospital bag packed? 35 Weeks
When did you have your nursery or baby-area ready? We had the room painted in April. The furniture was late and came the week we brought him home. His room still isn't completely finished. I have the border taped up do the measurements, so I have just have to permanently put it up. He's still in our room sleeping in his co-sleeper.
When did you have your shower? In april, I was 32.5 Weeks. I had to do it early bc it was in NY and the Dr wouldn't let me fly after 33 weeks.

This is a great question....
My baby furniture is here already...however I havent started doing ANYTHING in the room...
We arent painting it so..its all a matter of putting things away... and setting everything up... and as of right now I have nothing to do that with...so Im just waiting on my shower... I have a week off in Sept. I plan on doing everything that week....
Dh and I plan to start putting things together and whatever sometime in Sept. He's big on doing everything together!!!
So Im gonna say around 34 weeks... Ill begin... but even thats a little close... now youve freaked me out too lol...
The packing thing I havent even thought about.... when do people usually pack there bags?

My bag is pretty much packed and I'm @ 35 weeks. The room is done - just have to put together the stroller and swing. I've been 95% done since about 31 weeks - right after my shower

I was finishing up packing my hospital bag while I was in full blown labor!  Let's just say that I didn't get to finish and my DH had to go back home and get it. I went into labor 5 days before my due date and I day before my scheduled C-section.
His nursery was pretty much done about a month-3 weeks before he was born, but we were still doing a few things up until that weekend that I went into labor. I was actually putting together the bookcase in his room about 4 hours before I went into labor.
My baby shower was 2 months before my EDD. I live in NC and it was in NY, so while I was 8.5 months PG I had to drive for 9.5 hours!!! HORRIBLE!!!

I am 34 (almost 35) weeks and so far the nursery is basically ready to go. There are finishing touches but it's functional.
We have a cradle for the baby for the beginning but the crib is ready to go as well.
I plan to work on my hospital bag and birth plan this week.
I have had my shower and have the baby's going home outfit.
Still need to get the car seat installed and inspected.

I am 34 weeks 4 days and:
baby room is painted, border up, waiting for furniture and carpeting.
my bag- is basically ready to go
No shower for me but we have bought the infant carseat. We are having it inspected on Thursday.

I am 37w 3d. After my hospital scare we stepped into gear.
I packed hospital bag at 36 weeks (when I got home)
We just finished all of the little things in the baby's room (crib mobile and stuff like that). We painted at about 30 weeks, rug about 33 weeks, crib and dresser at 36 weeks.
Shower was at 34 weeks

I had my shower at like 35 weeks (I am pretty sure). I gave birth at 37 weeks.
Most of my furniture came at 32 weeks or so but one piece (the biggest) was on backorder and I got the Saturday before I gave birth. I was waiting for that to set up the nursery after that came but baby came early. So the nursery was painted had a rug, most furniture was done there around 32 weeks or so. Nothing from my shower was in my room prior to giving birth being that I had planned to start my maternity leave 2 weeks before my due date and do it all then but baby came early and changed that plan. So his room was set up in his first few weeks of life. He spent a few extra days in the hospital so we did a lot then - like install the car seat, set up the bassinet, etc.
I packed my bag and did laundry to have clean clothes and underwear as my water broke. I had bought everything I still needed the night before so most everything was laid out to pack...I went shopping on Sunday and on monday my water broke. And I had a list of everything I needed all ready so I quickly threw it all together as my water was breaking.

I was due September 2nd and my shower was inthe middle of July I had the nursery done in the middle of august well it was painteed and all my mom did it for me. The furniture didn't come in till a few weeks before marissa was born. I had my bags packed at 30 weeks with the hopes of going early but that didn't happen she was born on her due date september 2nd

Honestly I don't remember but I waited until the last minute! My shower was only a week before my due date (  ) and I don't think I packed my overnight bag until that night as well!

I'm 38 weeks/5 days...
Had my shower at 35 weeks...
Packed my back at 36 weeks
Just completed all the putting together of the swing, bouncy, mobile last night...
I'm ready to ROCK N ROLL! Come on out baby!!
Also, DH and I bought a DVD Video camera over the weekend. We are ready to go...all I have to do is get a mani/pedi, clean out the car and install the car seat.
