back from palms/turks & caicos - mini review

My DH and I just got back from our Honeymoon at the Palms in Turks & Caicos - before leaving for the trip we heard mixed reviews about the resort....

but it was wonderful - it was off peak season so not too crowded, the service was great, the place was beautiful and the food was also great

Turks is beautiful....the water is crystal clear blue and the sand is like powder.
It is quiet- not much of a night life, but the partying went on during the day at the pool bar - strong hurricane drinks knocked you out by 10p

There is alot of land undeveloped there although everywhere you turn there are signs that say so and so resort and condominiums coming soon....I think they are building up the islands, and the direct flight to JFK was 3hrs! Couldn't beat it -- I have no stock in Turks & Caicos (LOL) and I did not by a condo there - but just wanted to give you MHO about the place...we loved it!
Defenitely a place to check out if you want a relaxing getaway with a short flight!

Glad you had a great time!!

I'm shocked that it only took 3 hrs by plane. I thought it would be longer.

I would LOVE to go there.
