Graco snug ride question...
Sidney seems to hate the infant carrier. Every time i take her out of the seat (usually crying) her back is soaked with sweat. Even if we are in the fully air conditioned car. Anyone else have this problem. Is there something i can put in the seat to cover the fabric? Or other suggestions? tia

Re: Graco snug ride question...
shameless bump
I'm desperate to have her be content in the carrier. I have such anxiety when I am out that at any minute she will scream her head off in this thing.
The graco snug ride seemed to be the most popular carrier....

Re: Graco snug ride question...
I'm not going to be much help here...but, I've also heard that the Graco snug ride is one of the best infant car seats...I registered for one too. I haven't really read anything about babies being too hot in them or anything like that. I'm sure it's just the heat...it's really been soooooo sweltering hot...
The next few days aren't supposed to be so hot, see if you see a difference now.
Good Luck!

Re: Graco snug ride question...
How old is she??? I took Ava out of the infant carrier at 6 months b/c she HATED it. She was just getting too big for it. Now that she is in the regular Britax car seat she is MUCH happier.

Re: Graco snug ride question...
Same thing happened with Claire in the snugride. I took out the head positioner, which helped a little but she still was sweaty on her head and back. At 7 months we switched to the britax marathon and she is MUCH happier and less sweaty now!

Re: Graco snug ride question...
My son has always sweated in his car seats. He still does. We used the Graco Infant Snugride carseat, and now we use the Evenflo Triumph carseat. Same thing. But with my son I think he sweats all the time when he's sleeping in any kind of chair. Not in bed though, but always the car seats or high chair. We had take our son out of the Graco car seat because he was too big for it. He was only 4-5 months old. He couldn't even sit up yet!

Re: Graco snug ride question...
Would it help if you started the car and cranked the AC like 15-20 minutes prior to using the carseat? It could be that even if the car is cool, the seat is still very warm for her.

Good point..even though the car is cool she usually has been in the seat for a while before we get in the car.
She is 5 weeks old.
