Re: Italy in May

I dont think this is necessarily true.
Ive gone to Italy all my life growing up, most in summer months.
But Ive been there in the months October and March also (for grandparents passing Chat Icon)

and I remember in Oct being pretty darn chilly, and March freezin as well. and when they get snow, they get snow!

So I wouldnt necessarily say it's warmer than here Chat Icon Actually the horrendous humidity we have here, Ive never had there, and we had no AC all summer Chat Icon Those countryside towns, my moms house is all cement, marble, granite - they dont make em like they used to Chat Icon and we were cool as pickles all summer...

just my experience.

Re: Italy in May

I was in Rome, Florence, Naples, and Venice in June and it was HOT on the sunny days. The first day we were in Rome it was cloudy and drizzly, and with the sun being gehind the clouds were so cold. (we wore pants, long sleeves and light jackets that day).

Yes! We really enjoyed Venice, but my heart belongs to Florence (my belly too...I just could go back for the food alone!) Chat Icon
