Re: Back from the RE... need advice about having to miss work for testing/IUI's
If you don't want to divulge anything. Just let your principal know that you need to tkae some time off for personal medical reasons. Once you throw out the words medical reasons, you shouldn't have to divulge anything else. and for steps in the right direction

Re: Back from the RE... need advice about having to miss work for testing/IUI's
I dont have any advice as far as work, I know the school systems can be a bit tricky. But I would tend to agree - as soon as you say medical issues, they should drop it and give you the time.
I'm glad your appt with Dr Bray went so well! I really liked her too - and she got us PG in just a few months. I always felt very comfortable with her. She reminds me of my grammer school nuns (teachers). I always wanted to call her "Sister Mary Bray" instead of "Dr. Mary Bray"
I'm sooooo glad she has you on a program for this cycle! She is very proactive. I know things will work out for you!!

Re: Back from the RE... need advice about having to miss work for testing/IUI's
First, good luck!! Dr Bray is my DR as well..shes very thorough....
Now as far as work....I HAD to tell my boss because there is no way you can do it all before or after work. That said, I have only been late for work 2 times in 3 months, and I have had 3 IUI'S and about 14 office visits or more maybe...
Most of my appointments for blood /sono's during the pre O period are between 6:30-7:30 am. I have to be at work at 8:30 and its about 40 minutes from RSONY. I have had a LOT of visits and an IUI fall on a Saturday, some visits will.
My two weekdays IUI's were at 7:30 and 8:30 and I got to work at 10:30 and 11:30. I found the iuis to always be around 3 hours. BUT I go with DH , he does his sample there, we wait and then I go in.
I hope that my experience helps a little, but I dont know if theres a way of doing IUI'S without telling your Boss and preparing them for the time you will need.
I hope they understand. Let us know what they say ok?

Unfortunately, with teaching I can't come in late and stay late. The schedule is what it is.
Thanks for all of the info and advice.
That is one of the sucky things. Lots of luck!
