No, I'm the same way. I dread getting estimates for work to be done and to have people in to do the work. I don't really know why, I'm just not comfortable until they leave.

u r def not the only one i feel so uncomfortable when people come in to my house. What I do is make sure i have project to do when they are coming for example cleaning out a draw or making a food dish etc keep my mind distracted or i get on the phone with someone that likes to talk

I don't enjoy it...but the fact is that most people will feel uncomfortable in my house b/c I have three dogs and I do not put them away, especially when DH is not home

I've had a stranger in my home for 10 hours a day for the last 10 months while my Dad was living with us - his aid.
I hate it
