Re: Baby is breech

My baby was breech at 34 weeks and then turned by 36 weeks. Since then it has been head down. Dont worry there is PLENTY of time.

Re: Baby is breech

My doc said mine was breech at my 24 week appointment also. She said there was plenty of time for him to turn so not to worry. I didn't think anything about it but now your making me worry...lol.

Re: Baby is breech

With my last pregnancy my doctor said they can turn themselves around numerous times a day up until 37 weeks. I wouldn't worry at all yet. By the time you got home the baby could have even turned the other way again.

Re: Baby is breech

Every sono I went to so far the baby has been transverse (I had one at 12/14/20/22 & 27 weeks). I just went to the dr last night for my 34 week appt and he pressed on my stomach and told me the baby is now head down. So don't worry the baby has plenty of time to turn.

Re: Baby is breech

I was breech at 24w as well but I'm fairly certain based on movement and hiccups that the baby has since turned (I'll know for sure Christmas Eve at my growth sono).

Re: Baby is breech

I am 32 weeks now and when I went to the dr the other day the baby was still breech and that made me freak. BUT there is still time for the baby to move so dont be like me and make yourself crazy thinking about it....Chat Icon

My dr told me to get on my hands and knees for 20 mins at least 2 times a day and that might help...I dont know how true that is but I guess it cant hurt to try.

Re: Baby is breech

My yoga instructor said that sometimes doing downward facing dog helps a baby move out of breach.

I'm sure it will be fine though.

You baby can turn at the very last minute even while in labor. I wouldn't worry about it at all, you are still early and there is plenty of time for him/her to turn. I am 25.5 weeks and she is still breech, my first was breech until 36 weeks.

Aaaaaaaawwwwww. I don't have any advise being this hasn't happened to me but I tend to agree with the other girls - you still have a way to go so I am sure that the baby will probably flip between now and your due date. I hope so!!!!!!

Re: Baby is breech

I had two breech babies. My first was born at 37 weeks when my water broke, and he never turned, he was breech the whole time.

My DD was also breech. However, she turned for me at 36 weeks and I went on to have a vaginal birth (VBAC).
