Re: Dehumidifier question
I'm not sure what ours is set at (I don't think it's that sophisticated that it gives you a humidity percent) but when it's rained alot and we have it set on a higher setting it can fill up every day or so.

Re: Dehumidifier question
we run 2 (we have a very large unfinished basement) at the same time - one is fancier - we have it set at 60%...i empty it every other day. the other one does not have a thermostat, so it just runs constantly and we empty it every day..
it is probably filling so quickly b/c you just started using it..and b/c it rained a bunch the other night!

Re: Dehumidifier question
Depending on how humid it is and if it rained, we empty ours once a day.

Re: Dehumidifier question
When we used a bucket, we had to empty ours once a day.
We've since attached a hose to it and it drains into our sump pump so we don't have to worry about emptying it.
