How beautiful!!!!
Although I still have my mom with me, my mom does not have hers but it is my Granddaughter that we will be missing the most this year. What should have been my daughters 1st Mother's day is going to now be a VERY DIFFICULT day.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you have lost your moms as well as those that have lost their DC.

This was very touching and beautiful. I have been really down in the dumps about Mothers day this yr. I lost my mom 15 yrs ago, and while it has gotten better,the pain will never go away.... it has been very hard for me this year. I think because I am now redoing the house I grew up in, so I had to go thru a lot of things. I had a hard time doing this, my dad died too . I am dreading this weekend. DH and I are going to the movies, were Moms will not be everywhere. the other day I had a good cry when a friend said she would love to spend the day at the spa with her Mom for Mothers day. Of course I just kept quiet, when I got home I cried.
hugs to all that have been thru a loss.

This is my first Mother's Day without my Mom. This weekend is going to be a tough one. Other than going to the cemetary and planting some geraniums, I just want to stay home with my DH.
But, we are taking my MIL out for dinner. Even though I know that it is her day as a mother, I really don't want to go to a restaurant where there will be lots of people with their Moms.

This is my first Mother's Day without my mother.
Today someone wished me a Happy Mother's Day. I said, "Why? I don't have any children or a mother," and started crying. Yikes.
Strength out there to everyone else dealing with this, it's a toughie.
