Thanks for posting this Kevin. So friggin' scary. I am not putting Jack in the car anymore with the coat on. This just made up my mind.

Stupid question from a new mom, on these really cold days, do you put the coat on them to leave the house and then take it off before putting them in the car seat?

yes, if you don't have a car seat that is removable where you can dress the baby and put them in it in the house and cover them, then yes
you would have to take off their coat before buckling them in out in the car.




Thank you! We just started using the convertible car seat so we will do that, take his jacket off before putting him in the car seat.
