1 or 2 day summer camp/program for 3 year old
Is there such a thing? Everywhere I look, it is 3 days a week. I need a seperation type class for him for the summer to prepare him for nursery school in September. I am in Eastern Nassau.. Also, I only need 2-3 hours a day.. Thanks

What towns are you interested in? There are a lot of preschools that offer this. At three, I sent one son to Wee Friends in Wantagh 2 days a week. I think it was a 3 or 4 hour class. My other son did Merrick Community 2 or 3 days a week at that age (he started with 2 but wanted more so I added a 3rd) and it was 3 hours. I know United Methodist in Bellmore also offers some camps (mornings only).

We live in Wantagh right now... Anywhere in the area is fine. Bellmore and Merrick is good.. I will look into both of them.. Thank you very much...

Have you asked if any of the 3 day programs will let you send him for only 2 days & then pro-rate it? That's what we did with our son last year.

Moms and Tots has a separation program. It is in Merrick. DS goes there now and has done beautifully separating from me. He loves his teachers dearly. We started in the separation class in the fall. The first part of the program was mommy and me and then we separated halfway. She also has classes that separate from day 1. DS now goes to this type of class two times a week.
